The will of the Father
Jesus did not came here for the benefit of His creation.
He came here to do the Father's Will (John 6:38). What is the Father's will? The will of the Father is to Glorify His Name in Heaven through Jesus Christ. How did the Christ glorify the Father's name in Heaven? The Christ glorified the Father's name by doing the will of the Father through His covenant. What is a covenant? A covenant is simply a deal to which God alone can initiate which involves conditions, blessings and curses. What is the Father's covenant? All of the major events in the old testament were done in a progressive fashion leading to the climax at the cross. The cross is the highpoint of the covenant between THREE PERSONS of the Trinity before the time was. The Father covenanted to bring a people to Himself, the Son covenanted to redeem them, the Spirit covenanted to make this all happen(preserve, advocate, help and comforter of the saints), the one who gives witness. It is all one story because there is one Author. There is covenant of works starting with Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses and David up to Christ who institutes a new covenant in His blood. It is not new in terms of being different. But new in that it is a continuation of the original but now with divine power. Being baptized is a covenant and involves the children . Because the promise is to us and our children, entering into a covenant with God blesses not just the head of the house but also His children. When the Father breaks his covenant, His children earns the curse as well, proven through the old testament and what you are going through right now. God is covenant God. What verse proves that the Christ is aligned with the will of the Father? John 3:35 says, "The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand" Nothing more, nothing less. God is not a servant, but a King who is selfless. Gentiles mistake Him as a servant who serves the lost so they can live in their selfish sinful desires. To continue living in sin and hide under the guise of congregation and ministry to hostage the Word that God has save the lost. To say that the Christ loves the sinner and hates the sin is not only self refuting but fatal. God HATES those who continue to live in sin. REPENT.
