Pho for a follower...

Waking up late afternoon, I was suddenly stricken with my weekly cravings for pho. So I decided to go to my nearest local pho restaurant. While going through my clothes, the Holy Spirit has spoken to me, that I have been given the opportunity to evangelize to the destitute. Why not the proclaim the gospel to regular people who live their daily normal lives. So I then decided to grab one of my tracts with a tip in it.

The Word of the Lord is likened unto a double edged blade that pierces through the soul.

Strolling my way to the restaurant, hesitant about handing the tract for I know that there would be a chance that people would laugh at me, mock me behind my back but yet the Holy Spirit has given me the power to push through. Crazy in the eyes of the worldly, but fulfilling in the eyes of the heavenly. There is no reason for me to proclaim the good news to the elect who are deprived of the gospel.

As I was walking my way inside the restaurant, the gentleman on the front desk casually greeted me and I greeted back, ordering my pho, then walking back to the bathroom for a quick bathroom break. Pulling out the tract out of my pockets, I then said of a small prayer that the tract may convict the soul of the man I am handing this to. Not to condemn him but to convict him of his sins the same way God has convicted me. For there is no salvation other than the Word of God Jesus Christ.

By the time I was out of the restroom, my food was packed in a plastic. I then nervously handed him the tract with a tip casually bookmarked through the first page and letting him know that I would appreciate it if he would read the tract. Confusion was the only way from what I can describe on his countenance. Preaching the gospel and letting him know that only the Word of the Lord is the one and only living word. He then responded with a monotonous "okay" to my response with a God bless you.

After leaving the restaurant, I had another thought in mind that says that I have not done good enough compared to what the other laborers in the field do who are gifted with so much wisdom, how they can manage to go through the conversation and through the grace of God to convict a soul. But yet the Holy Spirit had set into my mind in an instant that we can not go above without going through the first step, the same way a student could not become a teacher in a single day. A seed that has been planted in good soil does not bear fruits and flowers without the time and aid of external forces, the same way a new believer who yearns for Christ with persistency will not bear fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Entry of restaurant

After a short walk, I arrived at home and to my surprise, my amazon package has arrived filled with joy blessings and filling me with my physical and spiritual needs that I could still afford the luxuries of ordering from the restaurant while ordering a small stack of bibles to guide those who thirst for the Lord.

Praying that the Lord will continue to grow boldly in my walk and for the rightful people to receive what the Lord has provided for me.

The only weapon we need.

God blesses those who hunger and thirst for righteousness sake, for they will be filled.
