Fishing on Friday
Fridays, the day which everyone looks forward to. At least for weekday workers.
The route I decided to go fishing for men.
Ecstatically taking my first few steps going towards the bus stop, singing praises, hymns and joy inside my mind I patiently waited by the bus stop.
My Daily Route
I was inspired by a brother in Christ to buy a body camera which could help me document my journey but ended up devastated when I was greeted by "corrupted files" when I opened it. Another attack from the kingdom of darkness to discourage me from spreading the gospel.
Disappointed but not discouraged.
Entering the bus and taking my seat I decided to sneak my first seed by the side on one the seat's handle in front of me. Hidden, yet in plain sight. May the Lord grant the person grace, conviction and forgiveness to the one who picks it up.
A bible tract disguised as a dollar but is worth more than a billion.
Going down on my first stop, I immediately saw a lone lady, dressed in rags, collecting bottles of cans with a stern countenance. Filled with the Holy Spirit, I reached for my pocket to turn on my broken body cam to record the whole scene sharing God's word, but the footage ended up being useless, yet was acknowledged by the Lord. The conversation started me asking her if she believes in God. She then says "no" with a swift response. I then immediately told her that there is a loving God out there and his name is Jesus Christ, preaching the good news that there is hope and salvation through Jesus Christ. Telling her to at least give it a shot knowing him. I can almost read through her eyes what she has gone and is currently going through not knowing there is a kingdom to inherit but more importantly, being eternally one with our Savior. Ended up giving her a dollar and a tract, she then thanked me which lead me to ask for her name which is 'Mary'. If anyone is reading I plead you to pray for her. May the Lord lead her soul and lead her according to his will.
I thought to myself, why not go to the nearest bookstore to buy a bible, a bible I can happily give to a soul in need, but to my dismay, the bookstore had none. Walking my way towards the mall, a shoe cleaner who has a small stall selling his products approached me which offered to clean my shoes for free. I was embarrassingly reluctant at first knowing that I am not used to receive favors from people but he insisted. This reminded me when Jesus washed his disciples feet(John 13:14-17), when the king himself was sent by the Father not to be served but to serve. The same way we should serve and love one another. The way Jesus washes our feet also gives another meaning that our feet is consecrated, everywhere we go, we bring our feet, and this feet we bring is not to go places where we are not suppose to go to. While in the process of cleaning my feet, he then offered me his product for $45.00 which I already expected yet I politely declined. I then asked him if he knows Jesus, he claims that he already accepted Jesus as his savior. Asked him again if he walks according to his will, he then says that he tries but told me he is not perfect. I then pulled out "read the gospel and pray to the Lord everyday he wakes up thanking that the Lord has given him another day and ending the day as well", giving him a tip and saying God Bless.
Snippet of my feet in the process of being cleaned.
Lunch hours had already passed so I then googled my way to the nearest Filipino restaurant, to then my surprise, was greeted with an elegant looking tree, that reminds me when Jesus said what his kingdom is like(Matt 13:28). This only shows a spitting image on what the children of God will inherit to those who love him.
Unique with different cluster of colors.
Already hungry, walking my way to the restaurant with the joy of the Lord in my heart, I then ordered a sinigang na baboy and sizzling sisig. Sitting on the table waiting patiently for the food, I then appreciated my burlap bag which I inherited from my late mother.

My burlap sack.
We thank and praise God for his providence.
Walking my way towards home. I thank the Lord that he has allowed this day to be dedicated to him. Never have I ever figured, before accepting Christ, that serving the one true God would give me true happiness. May the Lord's name and his kingdom be glorified further.
We could not stare at the sun directly the same way us sinners could not see the face of God and live.
A day dedicated to the Lord.
